The Brain Guide II continues from the previous book, which already described the anatomy of brain pathways and follows its format. However, in the first chapter, it provides answers to questions about the meaning of the crossing of brain pathways and describes the arrangement of nervous systems in the animal kingdom, which may engage a broader readership in the popularization of neuroscience. In the following chapters, it again connects microphotographs of anatomical preparations with the basics of anatomy and the function of important structures – this time the brainstem, spinal cord, and cerebellum. It was created in close collaboration with neurosurgeons and anatomists and aims to connect both novice (medical students) and advanced (neurologists, neurosurgeons) neuroscientists. An extraordinary chapter details and photographically documents the internal dissection anatomy of the brainstem using the method developed by Professor Klingler, authored by Dr. Ingrid Concepción from Panama, as well as an atlas of safe entry points into the brainstem and a description of the anatomy of the cerebellar hemisphere. Therefore, it should not be missing from the library of any neurosurgeon, as it will surely enrich them with case studies of tumor surgeries, specifically cavernomas of the brainstem and spinal cord, described by experienced surgeons. They again accompany their text with surgical photographs, and you can...
