An expanded collective of authors (Plzeň, Prague, Brno) in this publication builds on their previous monographs Liver Surgery (Maxdorf, 2004) and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery (Maxdorf 2010), which have necessarily become outdated due to the rapid development of surgery. The original chapters have been supplemented and expanded with new procedures and updated in accordance with the latest surgical trends and possibilities. New chapters on the treatment of oncological tumors in the hepato-pancreato-biliary area have also been added.
