The book is intended for patients diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, as well as their loved ones. The first edition of this book, which was published 16 years ago, provided significant help to families dealing with this diagnosis. A second, revised and expanded edition of this book is now being prepared, responding to medical advancements in this area. Since the first edition, there have been some changes in the approach to this disease, particularly regarding treatment, anesthetic procedures, and regimen measures. Although there is currently a relative abundance, or even an excess, of information available on the internet, most of it suffers from inaccuracies, with some being quite misleading, except for a few pages in English. The book, which is based on the authors' long-term experiences with patients suffering from myasthenia, guarantees the solidity and reliability of the information.
