The multi-part project of our leading herbalist Josef A. Zentrich is published under the patronage of the Czech-Moravian Union of Healing Arts and summarizes his 40 years of experience in study and practice. It is based on theoretical postulates and data from the latest professional literature, taking into account the rational experiences of folk healing, and represents an update of the famous seven-part Herbarium, which was created between 1994 and 1999 in collaboration with Ing. Jiří Janča, CSc. In addition to European herbs, you will also find a number of Chinese, Ayurvedic, and South American herbs that have only recently begun to officially enter the Czech market. Alongside the taxonomic entries of individual herbs, the author has also processed a number of therapeutic terms and common concepts from alternative medicine, including the most important dietary supplements. The encyclopedia is intended for home practice, that is, for herbalists and especially informed laypeople.
