Česko-nizozemský slovník – group of authors (2005)

This is the most comprehensive Czech-Dutch dictionary available on our market, containing over 60,000 Czech entries and more than 150,000 Dutch equivalents. The processing of individual entries is based on a rich corpus of material; in addition to general vocabulary, the dictionary also includes colloquial and slang expressions. The main criterion for including an entry was its frequency in contemporary language, and numerous technical terms were also included. Alongside modern terminology in economics, technology, law, etc., great attention was paid primarily to terms in the fields of botany, zoology, and medicine. Each entry provides basic grammatical information with references to grammatical tables, and numerous collocations and phraseologisms are included within the entries. The dictionary also features a grammatical overview, notes on Czech pronunciation, notes on Czech perfective and imperfective verbs, and a list of strong and irregular Dutch verbs.
