It follows the fifth volume, Men’s Vests and Jackets, which introduces the construction of patterns for garments covering the torso. Intended for secondary-school and vocational-school students as well as clothing-industry professionals, it deepens knowledge of the shapes of the upper human body in relation to the construction and modeling procedures used when creating patterns. Other volumes in the series already published cover skirts, women’s trousers, men’s trousers, and women’s shirts, blouses, and dresses.
