A practical tool for meditation on Scripture includes references to biblical texts that are read during the daily celebration of the Eucharist throughout the year. It is suitable for those who cannot attend Mass on weekdays but still want to live by God's word and stay in touch with the Church's liturgical celebrations, as well as for those who wish to prepare in advance for the Sunday service of the word. ***** For Sundays and feasts, very brief comments are provided for all three readings, for each of the cycles A, B, C, while for weekdays and feasts, only for the Gospel. The author's comments are not a summary of the entire message of the biblical text, but rather an emphasis on a certain thought that is meant to assist us in our own prayer over God's word. ***** Father Petr Karas was born in 1969 in Třebíč. While still a seminarian, he completed a year-long evangelization school, Jeunesse Lumiere, founded in France by Father Daniel Ange. He was ordained a priest in 1997. He currently serves as a pastor in Dolní Bojanovice.
