Beschreibung
Calm poetic tempos, civil imagery, wandering through the paths of the metropolis, veins of the heart's mystery. A powerful testimony to the growing "foreign continent" that ultimately hides the story of each of us. Jonáš Zbořil (born 1988) studies English and Czech at the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague. He is a moderator at ČRo Radio Wave, where he also co-moderates and prepares the show Liberatura. He first published in magazines in 2007 in Divoké víno. Later, his texts appeared in publications such as Host, in the almanac Wagon, Psím víně, Tvar, and in the anthology The Best Czech Poems 2009. Besides writing, he is involved in music, playing with the bands Sundays on Clarendon Road and Steakhouse Orchestra. He publishes poems and other texts on the blog fromfargo.tumblr.com. Dark Waters is his literary debut. The author lives in Prague.
