Young writer Ondřej Macura is not a newcomer to Czech literature. After the novel 'Netopýři', which offered a somewhat exaggerated report from the 'darkness of everyday life', he returns to poetry in his fourth book. The poetry collection titled 'Sklo' is, on the contrary, full of fragile, wintry imagery and contagious beauty. The rich reliefs of lyrical discoveries balance the stories in which we can linger with the author in a world of 'precise imagery', for which we love poetry. These are not substitute and escapist worlds, but rather the true poetry of today! Even in the new book, there are ironic echoes that are so typical of Macura.
