Three lives, one goal... From the tower of the cathedral in Lausanne, Switzerland, a strange limping boy named Marc Rochat watches over the city, speaking to the bells and aspiring to become a bell-ringer. With no choice, he accepts the job as a private investigator and searches for a missing former hockey star. In the process, he encounters Marc and Katherine and realizes that this is no coincidence. The story is alternately narrated by all three protagonists, each from their own perspective.
