Professor MUDr. Vratislav Schreiber, DrSc. (* 1924) chose a truly modest title for his literary reflection - Fragments of Memory. In reality, it is a colorful kaleidoscope of memories and experiences that map his entire life journey - from his school and gymnasium years, which were interrupted by the war, through his studies at the medical faculty, to his meeting with Professor Josef Charvát, whom he considers the most important person who influenced and launched his professional career and directed him towards endocrinology.
