The most famous period of a sport that quickly established itself among the most watched in the Czech Republic is captured in a book about the great biathlon boom. Its pages reflect on the memorable days of Czech biathlon from 2012 to 2020, as well as the roots of this sport. Author Tomáš Macek, as a sports reporter for MF DNES, has accompanied the Czech biathlon team at all competitions for many years, and in individual stories, he presents the medal battles at the Olympic Games, World Championships, and other major events in a journalistic style. He also shares personal stories from the lives of Gabriela Koukalová, Ondřej Moravec, Veronika Vítková, Michal Šlesinger, Markéta Davidová, and other personalities of Czech and world biathlon, with whom he has met many times.
