My SLABIKÁŘ is more than just a textbook for beginning reading. It provides communication opportunities for all children, thereby contributing to a quicker understanding of reading. Reading is closely linked to writing, the development of linguistic creativity, and reading literacy. The texts and verses are complemented by imaginative illustrations and fun exercises (in addition to tasks focused on text comprehension, there are also crosswords, word searches, etc.). The first part of the Slabikář contains practice for the letters n, d, k, r, v, z, h (as well as di, ti, ni, dě, tě, ně, ď, ť, ň). It is a workbook in which students write, and there is no need to supplement it with additional notebooks. The textbooks for beginning reading are supplemented with workbooks for practicing cursive handwriting, but they can also be used independently of these workbooks.
