The fourth part of the historical saga THE PREMYSLOVEC FAMILY connects the novels The Bad Years and The Heirs of the Golden King. At the beginning of the volume, the author added several extensive chapters about what happened from the birth of Wenceslas II in 1271 to the unfortunate battle at Moravian Field in 1278. This period was the only one missing in her sagas of Czech kings, and it is now reaching readers for the first time. Throughout the fourth part, strong personal passions illustrate the picture of a fierce struggle for power, from which the royal lion emerges as the ultimate victor over the five-petaled rose, despite the death of Premysl II on the battlefield.
