The picture book is intended for children with communication impairments. The idea to create the book came to Michaela Černická, one of the authors, from her experience visiting a speech therapy clinic with her own daughter. Despite the creativity of the speech therapist, the repetition of the same exercises that needed to be practiced at home between visits to the therapist began to bore her daughter, and her desire to practice diminished. Therefore, Mrs. Černická devised new 'worksheets' for her each time, varying the shapes into which the arcs were drawn, adapting the themes to the periods when they were doing the exercises. The effect was enormous: the speech therapy exercises became enjoyable for her daughter, who looked forward to what new creation would emerge from correctly 'drawing' the arcs and what she would be able to color, cut out, or add to after completing her daily 'task.' Such a form of reward is very important for children. The book was created in collaboration with clinical speech therapist Mgr. Lucie Danielová. Both authors jointly devised and created the individual tasks, which were illustrated by Michaela Černická. Lucie Danielová supplemented the publication with a methodological guide.
