Beschreibung
The textbook is designed for teaching German as a second foreign language from the end of the second stage of elementary school and its concept and scope ensure a smooth progression of teaching up to the maturity exam. In accordance with the CEFR for languages, it focuses on all four basic skills and sets communicative goals in each lesson. Students are encouraged to evaluate at the end of each lesson how well they have achieved these goals. Czech translations of vocabulary will be available in all volumes both in the lesson glossaries and in the final alphabetical glossary. The entire textbook is interwoven with the realities of German-speaking countries from the very beginning, and each lesson also contains a short text (Land und Leute) that brings interesting facts from the German environment (in the first two volumes also in Czech). Grammar always arises from the context, and students are guided to fill in simply formulated rules themselves. A complete overview of grammar with Czech commentary can be found in the workbook as a removable appendix.
