The workbook is a practical and useful supplement to the textbook, following the same arrangement and numbering of sections as the textbook. The workbook facilitates solving tasks from the textbook and allows students to write notes and solutions to tasks from the lesson. It also contains a number of examples for independent practice, homework, tasks for gifted students, etc. It is designed so that students do not need to use any additional notebook during math class. In the workbooks for the 8th and 9th grades, the limited scope is used to assign a number of additional examples and tasks for practice, and only some selected tasks from the textbook are included.
