The workbook is a practical and useful supplement to the textbook, with the same arrangement and numbering of units as the textbook. The workbook facilitates solving tasks from the textbook and allows students to write notes and solutions to tasks from the lesson. It also contains a number of examples for independent practice, homework, tasks for gifted students, etc. It is designed so that in math class, students do not need to use any additional notebook. In the workbooks for the 8th and 9th grades, the assignments for all tasks from the textbook are no longer repeated, but only some selected tasks are included, as students should already be able to take their own notes without problems. The limited scope of the workbooks has thus been utilized to assign a number of additional examples and tasks for practice.
