This Czech-language textbook is intended for second-year primary school pupils to read together in class. Through engaging stories in both content and visual presentation, written in dialogue form, it supports the development of reading skills, strengthens self-confidence and the willingness to read aloud, and naturally encourages cooperation among pupils. Drawing on educational practice, the texts draw children into the action, motivate them to read repeatedly, and create opportunities for dramatization and their own creative work. Reading thus becomes more enjoyable and appealing even for weaker readers. The textbook includes a digital supplement with worksheets, tasks and ideas for further activities that support reading literacy, cooperation and creativity.
