This textbook is the third part of a six-volume series of thematically focused physics textbooks for teaching at the second stage of elementary school (or in lower grades of multi-year gymnasiums). The textbooks are developed in accordance with the requirements of the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education. They emphasize the distinction between basic and extended curriculum, fulfill interdisciplinary relationships, and appropriately consider cross-cutting themes formulated in the Framework. Attention is paid to the practical aspect of teaching, providing numerous tasks and experiments suitable for implementation in school conditions. All volumes of the series are published with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
