7. The workbook is a useful supplement to the new textbook History 8 for elementary schools - Modern Age (V. Válková) and forms a logical whole with it. Both publications are fully developed in accordance with the requirements and recommendations of the RVP for basic education and have a unified approval clause from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. It constitutes the third part of a new series of textbooks for teaching history in the second stage, or in lower grades of multi-year gymnasiums. The textbook and workbook are accompanied by a methodological guide for teachers.
