The Java language textbook is a book that will help you overcome the initial hurdles of this programming language. You will find what you need to start programming in Java, but do not expect it to contain everything – such a volume of information cannot be squeezed into any book. In the appendix, you will find all the source files that belong to the book. They are divided as follows: 1) EXAMPLES_FROM_THE_BOOK Source files of all examples that have at least one line of code mentioned in the book. 2) ADDITIONAL_PROGRAMS Source files of programs that are mentioned in the book as supplementary, but their code is not included in the book due to space constraints. 3) SOLVED_EXERCISES Source files of all examples from the exercises. In total, there are more than 400 fully debugged programs. Because the topic of the Java programming language is quite extensive, this book explains in detail aspects of the language that are unlikely to change significantly.
