The second workbook in the thematic series, illustrated by Pavel Kantorek, captures in an extraordinarily accessible form the areas: Magnetic properties of materials, Force and its effects, Particle structure of materials, Electric circuit, Earth and universe, including their connections to other natural sciences. The textbook includes rich visual material. A series of questions related to the text and interdisciplinary relationships serves to practice acquired knowledge and to become aware of connections with the contents of other subjects. Each chapter is supplemented with separate articles on the application of the presented physical knowledge, the history of its acquisition, and the natural phenomena that are captured by it. The textbook was created in collaboration with educators from pilot schools and underwent a review survey by twenty physicists from elementary schools across the Czech Republic.
