Similar to his famous namesake, RNDr. Matěj Brouček is a traveler. The author sends him to not-so-exotic destinations that even a somewhat traveled reader is sure to know, not to discover new demographic, geological, geographical, ethnographic, pornographic, or cultural achievements, but to grapple with the minor troubles that may lurk on business trips, scientific conferences, vacations, or perhaps during military exercises or in spas. And indeed, they lurked. While the adventures of Matěj's predecessor described by Mr. Čech are entirely fabricated, the percentage of truth in the stories in this book is (100), where the number is smaller than small.
