"Grandma on Demand" is a confession of the post-war generation. Seniors want to live a slightly different life. A group of seven people, who shared part of their childhood together, are united by the feeling that no one needs them anymore, that they are a burden. They started out singing pioneer songs and end with a sad look into their wallets. However, a new opportunity arises for them – to move into the building of a former kindergarten where they met as children. The desire for a better life and community, but also a lack of money, leads them to somewhat peculiar activities. Moreover, they are increasingly troubled by the "teenagers" from the neighboring school, which they also know well from their childhood years. Now, however, they are worried about their patch of forbidden plants. And playing the role of a grandma on demand is an enticing offer for some. But it's never too late for a delayed love affair between Vlad and Bedřiška. A tragicomic, humorous look not only at the post-war generation.
