The book Significant People in My Life tells the story of the author's life after his arrival in Prague in 1949. It describes friendships with many significant people, his rare friends - Z. Mahler, V. Větvička, M. Patřičný, J. Grygar, J. Himal, D. Rybníček, L. Venyš, V. Ebr, and other friends - godfathers of his books. The author also recalls his experiences from forestry expertise in Africa and Asia, as well as travels and stays in other countries across five continents. There is also a list of his publishing activities, including 27 books, five of which are dedicated to football. The publication also contains a passage about the author's new friends at the Zátiší guesthouse. The book includes 32 pages of color images and a list of appendices.
