This book brings the life and artistic journey of actor and voice artist Dalimil Klapka. The author chronologically and in detail maps his personal and artistic life as a person who has experienced a lot, seen, and met many acting personalities, about whom he writes in this book. The memories are authentic, and thus Dalimil Klapka sincerely and faithfully recounts everything he has experienced over eight decades, what and how he acted, and whom he met. He recalls his student years, his favorite acting roles, the Realistic Theatre, where he worked for an incredible 33 years, and his teaching work at the Prague Conservatory. He also performed at the Musical Theatre Karlín, the Theatre at the Old Town, the Theatre in Dlouhá, the Drama Club, and the Theatre at Fidlovačka. In film, he appeared in the successful comedy Next Time We'll Be Smarter, Spring Breeze, or in Saturnin and many others. Dalimil Klapka lent his voice, among others, to the famous and unforgettable American actor Peter Falk in the role of Lieutenant Columbo.
