This is another book in the series of stories about little animals by British author Holly Webb. Sofie often sees Mr Jenkins taking Pralinka, a Labrador puppy, for walks and would love to have a dog like her. Lively Pralinka adores being outdoors and keeps running away, even though she knows she should not. One day, Sofie finds Pralinka alone in the street. She assumes the puppy has gone off by herself in search of fun again, but this time Pralinka has more serious troubles: something very bad has happened at home, but how can she explain it to Sofie?
