Orphan X is finally at rest. His peace is disrupted by a phone call from an unknown woman claiming to be his mother. The mystery deepens as she calls from Argentina. Evan tries to get to the bottom of this enigma and sets off to meet her. The encounter triggers a rapid series of adventurous events, during which he finds not only new kindred spirits but also himself. And so, while he battles a mad scientist whose deadly micro-drones could change the world, he also fights a no less difficult battle within himself. Because he soon realizes that enduring pain in battle is less challenging than learning to love and finally shaking off the emotional flatness of a professional killer.
