Orphan X is contemplating retirement. That is, right after he completes his last mission. However, what seems like a simple task turns into a terrifying nightmare. He gradually discovers that his new client, the likable Max, is up against a very dangerous criminal network whose tentacles reach into the government. Evan's task is to climb from the lowest levels, from ordinary criminals to the top. And not get killed in the process, which isn't so simple when one is recovering from a concussion within the walls of the largest American prison. Just when he thinks he has his target within reach, he realizes that death also threatens his likable neighbor Mia and her son Peter.
