The textbook is part of a revised series of mathematics textbooks. The updated edition better aligns with the RVP, contains more current data, and is more attractive to students due to its new graphic design. The revised textbooks maintain the concept of the original series, which has been updated (currency for purchases, price levels, etc.). A series of new tasks has been included, highlighting the importance of mathematical knowledge for life and encouraging students to complete various tasks and seek information. Non-standard application tasks and problems have been strengthened (e.g., development of geometric imagination, combinatorial tasks). Many tasks lead to reflections on issues related to the environment (e.g., energy-saving bulbs, smoking). The most changes are in the graphic equipment. The textbook is in color, featuring photographs of real objects and situations, as well as humorous and motivating colored illustrations. The revised edition of the textbook is graphically marked with a yellow broken stripe in the lower left corner of the cover image.
