The textbook is part of a series of mathematics textbooks developed according to the RVP. The student will learn linear equations and important rules for solving equations, their application in examples, especially problems about motion and problems about joint work; they will also learn statistics (arithmetic mean, frequency, bar and pie charts). Practical exercises illustrate the connection between mathematics and everyday life situations. The problems are formulated briefly and simply. The textbook is colorful, featuring photographs of real objects and situations, as well as humorous and motivating colorful illustrations.
