The textbook is part of a series of mathematics textbooks developed according to the RVP. Students will learn about squares and square roots, the Pythagorean theorem, expressions, and polynomials. Chapter 7 expands the material on powers with natural exponents. The exercises have been updated in the printouts (currency when paying for purchases, price levels). Many tasks demonstrate the importance of mathematical knowledge for life and encourage students to complete various tasks and seek information. Non-standard application problems are also included. The textbook is colorful, featuring photographs of real objects and situations, as well as humorous and motivating colorful illustrations.
