The textbook is part of a series of mathematics textbooks developed according to the RVP. It focuses on decimal numbers (comparison, rounding, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division); natural numbers (divisibility), the greatest common divisor, and the least common multiple. The exercises have been updated (currency when paying for purchases, price levels). A number of tasks demonstrate the importance of mathematical knowledge for life and encourage students to complete various tasks and seek information. Non-standard application tasks and problems are reinforced (e.g., development of geometric imagination, combinatorial tasks). Many tasks lead to reflection on issues related to the environment (e.g., energy-saving bulbs, smoking). The textbook is colorful, featuring photographs of real objects and situations, as well as humorous and motivating colorful illustrations.
