The collection is intended not only for students who have a deeper interest in mathematics but also for those who need to practice and review certain parts of the curriculum more effectively, better understand them through additional expanding and analogous problems, or simply want to play with fun tasks. Similar to the problem collection for the 4th grade, there are more challenging problems here as well, as it is necessary to suitably engage students with a deeper interest in mathematics. Nevertheless, even these more difficult problems do not require any tools that the students do not already know. The more difficult problems are marked with an asterisk. These are problems that either have a more complex formulation or a more complex solution. Additionally, problems that require some creativity or the application of more complex reasoning are marked with an icon of a girl or boy's head. It is assumed that in the 5th grade, children will increasingly use calculators, not only to solve problems with more difficult calculations but also to create tables. Tables can be created with the advantageous use of the calculator's memory in repeated operations with one constant operand, or even by working with a spreadsheet program on a computer.
