Y-Bible is part of the Youcat series, which already includes the Youcat catechism for youth, Youcat preparation for confirmation, Youcat prayer book for youth, and Youcat sacrament of reconciliation. Y-Bible is not a continuous text of Scripture, but a selection of key passages from both the Old and New Testaments, supplemented with introductions and explanations of the realities. Beautiful photographs, the overall graphics of the book, and testimonies from those who have learned to perceive God's word as a light for their lives contribute to the accessibility and digestibility of classical texts. While Y-Bible cannot replace the complete Bible and its study, it can be an excellent tool for those who are just learning to recognize and listen to God's word: for teenagers and young Christians, for Catholics who have been going to church for years but are not used to reading the Bible themselves, for converts and those who have strayed, who are returning to life with God and the church after years.
