Technické kreslení a deskriptivní geometrie pro školu a praxi – Švercl Josef (2012)

The introduction is dedicated to guiding the reader through the arrangement of national and international standards EN and ISO with regard to their application in creating technical documentation. The reader is introduced to the selection and use of drawing tools, performing geometric constructions and their applications, sketching, and principles of technical representation. These principles are followed by the method of indicating dimensions on drawings, specifying their accuracy, shape, and position, as well as the surface quality of machine components. The acquired knowledge is utilized and developed in the chapter dedicated to drawing machine components and joints, and in the preparation of production drawings. The second part of the textbook covers the curriculum for the subject of descriptive geometry. It is divided into orthogonal projection onto two perpendicular planes, constructing networks of bodies, and solving their intersections. The text is supplemented by a selection of planar curves focusing on technical applications of gears, mechanisms, and their trajectories. Descriptive geometry concludes with a chapter dedicated to solving problems in spatial representations. The material is processed according to the valid rules and principles of technical drawing established in ČSN and adopted EN and ISO standards.
