Is it true, or merely the product of a troubled mind? Seventy-six-year-old widow Linda feels lost and lonely after her husband’s death and learning that her best friend Carol has dementia. Her daughter Kleo and son-in-law Mick move into her home, but instead of bringing comfort, they add tension and arguments. Kleo is unemployed and trying to complete her dissertation, while Mick is attempting to launch a business. Clients do not come, and he spends increasingly more time in front of the television with a beer in his hand. To escape the unease at home, Linda visits Carol in a care facility, where she meets an unusually energetic elderly woman named Jenny Cooper. During their first conversation, Jenny confesses that she is a murderer. At first, Linda assumes the confession is the product of a mind clouded by dementia, but the more time she spends with Jenny, the more she wonders whether it could be true. Could Jenny also be connected with the sudden death of one of the facility’s residents, or is relentless old age to blame? The contents are in Slovak.
