In the mid-nineties, the underworld became active in Our City, and the boys from the homicide department had their hands full. However, not all murders from this period were related to the underworld. Some had been waiting for years in Krauz's closet for resolution, and finally, they got their chance. After three years of investigation, the detectives managed to catch the murderer of seventeen-year-old prostitute Ruženka Róžová, who was stabbed in the grass at the edge of the housing estate. Despite the promise from their boss, Alexander Mayor, Krauz and the entire team from office 141 will not enjoy the well-deserved celebrations or a few days off, as a new case is already approaching—subtly like a mysterious shooter masked by the evening twilight of a deserted forest. The victim is a former athlete, a representative, and also a model working on the renowned runways of Paris and Milan—a grand lady of the big world. But how to find out who the mysterious shooter is that is after her life? Krauz is not even sure if someone is truly after her life or if it was just a random shot from a treacherous poacher. The detectives from the homicide department face another puzzle, and the outcome of the investigation may bring surprising answers, as it has many times before.
