After the murder of the underworld boss, a stifling atmosphere settled over Our City. Everyone knew that revenge would not take long to arrive, bringing a new wave of bloodshed. The boys from the homicide department are presented with an unexpected opportunity - to stop the impending catastrophe and restore peace and tranquility to our streets. Krauz tries to use personal contacts with two rivals, the boss's successors, to reconcile them at a joint meeting. The detective is unaware that his plans will be thwarted by another secret power, which, although funded by the same taxes as the detectives, sometimes stands against them. Shots are fired, and Krauz, not even a year after an unpleasant painful experience with the secret service, finds himself in the crosshairs again, but after a long time, he is also forced to shoot at a person. Are the bullets flying in the right direction? How is the homicide detective supposed to uncover who is on his side in this tangled case and who is the enemy? When he finally finds the answers, he realizes that he cannot share them. The unraveling of the mystery is shrouded in secrecy, and everyone is only concerned with keeping it that way, ensuring that nothing leaks to the public. In the end, Krauz succumbs to the pressure from his colleagues in office 141. He buries the key to the secret as if he threw it into the water, leaving only ripples on the surface.
