The death of Alexandra Pekníkova appeared to be an unfortunate accident at first glance. Saša worked in a jewelry store and was murdered during a robbery. Lieutenant Lukáš Líška initially investigates this murder as well. However, the victim's mother is convinced that the entire robbery was staged. Her daughter had reportedly been fearing for her life for some time because she had gotten on the wrong side of someone from influential circles. But who would want to kill a young jewelry store employee with ambitions of being a gold digger? The still inexperienced lieutenant quickly begins to doubt his own abilities and once again seeks help from Captain Wolf. He is burdened with his own worries. Guilt and the face of the girl he found murdered haunt him at every turn. He already regrets fleeing the crime scene, even though he long convinced himself that he had no choice. He wants to make amends, but how can he investigate a murder without a body, especially when the unknown victim seemingly leaves no one missing?
