Croatia is one of the most popular destinations for Czechs. However, few realize that exploring it, especially outside the main season, is perfectly suited for cycling, which allows one to venture into areas still untouched by mass tourism. The lower visitor numbers, originality, and yet attractiveness were important criteria for selecting locations for this publication. Editor-in-chief of the magazine Cykloturistika, Slávka Chrpová, creator of Kololodi, Zdeněk Kukal, and cartographer Stanislav Rauch traveled, mapped, and photographed a total of twenty Croatian regions on the islands, coast, and inland. The result is a guide with more than fifty panoramic routes accessible to cyclists – with minimal traffic, culturally and historically enriching, and with the original Mediterranean-Balkan spirit. It includes QR codes with route maps and tips for excursion destinations and local gourmet specialties.
