Beschreibung
During the First Republic, Bohumil Pospíšil (1902-1974), a native of Přerov, was among the promising Czechoslovak travelers. He spent five years on an adventurous journey around the world, writing numerous captivating articles and two travelogues about it. However, when he moved to New Zealand in the mid-1930s, his trail disappears. Thanks to the extensive personal legacy, including hundreds of unique photographs, which Pospíšil's grandson sent back to the Czech Republic from Auckland, we now have the opportunity to map the fascinating life story of this globetrotter.
