Beschreibung
The life of widowed innkeeper Aloisie turns upside down when her daughter Krista sees the Virgin Mary in the woods. Although no one but Krista has seen her, the news of the apparition spreads quickly, and crowds begin to flock to the forgotten region, finally bringing prosperity to the indebted inn. Krista is equally adored and hated by those around her. Aloisie herself doesn't know which side to take. Is her daughter a liar or a visionary? And is it really the Mother of God appearing in the woods, or something much more terrifying? This story of love, faith, and infinite will is based on real events that took place in the 19th century in Broumov.
