Lily is a small pit bull who tries not to get lost among all her bigger brothers. She finds an unexpected ally in a little girl named Maggie Rose, who understands her very well. Maggie Rose is the daughter of the shelter owner, and Lily loves her so much that she doesn't intend to give her up easily, even though a home for the puppy awaits elsewhere. Lily is a born rescuer; she would be a great help to the shelter! It's clear to Maggie Rose at first glance. Now, they just need to figure out how to prove it to everyone else. Will these two friends manage to stay together, or will Lily have to leave the shelter forever?
