Beschreibung
During a journey through Moravia, squire Ota meets his distant cousin Milada from Zástřizlí. She is desperate and begs him for help. She lives in Krakovec near Prostějov, where several strange events have occurred recently, culminating in the murder of her husband. What is worse, she is suspected of his death. Squire Ota turns to his lord, but he has neither the inclination nor the authority to investigate here. Moreover, he must attend to another crime that has harmed the Czech king. However, then there is an attempt to abduct Milada. This convinces Oldřich of Chlum that this is not an ordinary crime. Together, they begin to unravel an incredible story, the threads of which lead deep into the past.
