Three detective stories from the time of the Czech Renaissance. Royal scribe Jiří Adam from Dobronín, along with his assistant Petr Korce and maid Rozárka, solves cases that the Prague royal officials cannot handle. The story 'The False Thaler' takes Mr. from Dobronín to a South Bohemian fortress, where he learns about a strange murder. But it won't stop at just one. 'Silent Tongue' is a spy story. Due to the investigation of a complex web of court intrigues, the lord from Dobronín must travel all the way to Vienna. The third story, 'The Boskovice Seductress', takes place in the milieu of Moravian nobility. A passionate yet unfulfilled love ends in murder.
