Beschreibung
It would seem that life in the Jizera Mountains flows slowly and not much happens here. But appearances can be deceiving. When Jitka married Josef, the beloved firefighter, and they moved into a new house, she thought they were in for a pleasant and peaceful family life. She had no idea how wrong she was. Josef soon dies of a heart attack, and Jitka struggles to raise her teenage daughter and cope with loneliness. She finds a younger boyfriend, but gradually realizes that loyalty is a completely foreign concept to him. The greatest betrayal comes from a direction she never expected. Will it be possible to rectify the injustices, lies, and broken relationships? Or is it too late for everything?
