Pepan Otevřito, whose real name is Josef Chudárek, a former great safe-cracker and now a lively senior, stumbles upon a corpse during a walk along the Svratka River. Investigators soon discover that it is Jan Věromysl Juráček, the economic advisor to Prime Minister Radmil Rubeš. He was found in the bushes by the Svratka River without pants, and his groin was sprinkled with something white. Could someone have had an interest in the man's death? The case reaches the highest political circles, and investigator Berka must proceed with particular caution this time...
