Shortly after the court astronom Tycho Brahe attended a banquet hosted by Petr Vok of Rosenberg in his palace in Hradčany, he had to lie down with a fever and severe pain. The efforts of the doctors summoned by Emperor Rudolf II himself were in vain, and after eleven days of suffering, Tycho Brahe died. The investigation is taken over by Lukáš Trobl from Květnice. However, witnesses are reluctant to speak about the event, and it can even be said that they complicate the investigation. During his search, Lukáš becomes acquainted with the mysterious niece of the deceased astronomer, who is engaged in alchemy, and his former lover Tereza, a tavern keeper from the tavern U Krále Brabantského, also offers her help...
